Thank you JESUS

So yesterday three of us got together and basically climbed a zillion fights of stairs. It was hard work but felt good. Afterwards we went and got cheeseburgers and pieshakes! What were we thinking! We had a blast and it tasted great but really just wasted all of the effort we put in. I was thinking about this and how often we do similar things in other areas of our lives. For example: I might become more diligent in my scripture study but then go right out and do something really stupid. Or I may succeed in avoiding one temptation while indulging in another. The point is that sometimes we try and work so hard at doing the right thing only to go out and make mistakes. But this is why we have Jesus Christ. It is through Jesus Christ that our very natures can be perfected. That when we mess up we can become clean again through the process of repentance. Repenting from that pieshake will probably take me all week.
